Patriarch Daniel of Romania to prayerfully celebrate his 69th birthday

On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church will celebrate his 69th birthday.

On this occasion, a prayer of thanksgiving to God will be offered during the Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Patriarchal Cathedral.

After the Divine Liturgy, at 11.30 a.m., a Te Deum service will be held as a liturgical expression of gratitude for the recent accomplishments in the life of the Romanian Orthodox Church and of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.

Congratulatory messages on the birthday of the Patriarch of Romania can be handed directly to the Patriarchal Secretariat or sent to the e-mail address [email protected], or to the fax number +40 21.406.71.62.

It is noteworthy that the official feast day of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel is on September 30 of each year, the date of the enthronement of His Beatitude in the dignity of Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church (September 30, 2007).
