On 11th enthronement anniversary, Bishop Macarie visits imprisoned in Oslo

Bishop Macarie visited imprisoned in Oslo on July 6, on the occasion of his 11th enthronement anniversary.

“Today, July 6, 2019, with the help of the Most Merciful God, I have reached 11 years of missionary service in the countries of the North. If one year ago, at the completion of a decade, I was in Greenland to preach the Gospel of salvation to the Romanians and natives in those distant and frozen lands, this year I am in the midst of the sick and the deprived of freedom in the prisons of Oslo, the capital of Norway. I pray to Saint Ephraim the New to protect and enlighten these brothers of ours, and I bless you all deeply from the depth of the heart!”, Bishop Macarie wrote on the official website of the Eparchy.

Northern Europe Bishop Macarie was enthroned on July 6, 2008, in the Serbian Episcopal Cathedral of Stockholm.
