His Beatitude THEOPHILOS III,
Patriarch of Jerusalem

Your Beatitude,

It is with great concern that we received the news about the escalation of the military conflict in the Holy Land following Iran’s massive drone and missile attack on Israel on Saturday night, 13 April 2024.

Therefore, in this dramatic context marked by violence and armed tensions, we pray God to grant political leaders the wisdom of peacemakers, so that the war in the Holy Land may end soon and a just and lasting peace may be restored.

We especially pray the Lord Jesus Christ to be with Your Beatitude and the Patriarchate of Jerusalem during these difficult times of military conflict in the Holy Land.

With brotherly love in Christ the Lord,

† DANIEL
Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church
