In pictures: Archbishop Calinic visits hermits in Suceava

On Thursday, April 22, Archbishop Calinic of Suceava and Radauti visited the cells of three hermits in the Lupcina area, Suceava County.

The Archbishop was accompanied by Archim. Nectarie Clinci, honorary exarch of the area and Archim. Gherasim Curaciuc, inspector of the Sales Department.

The Archbishop visited and blessed the cell of monk Teodosie dedicated to the Prodromitissa Icon of the Mother of God, Saint George and Saint Theodosius the Great, the cell of hieromonk Dionisie, dedicated to the Three Holy Hierarchs and Saint Dionysius the Areopagite, and the cell of monk Casian, dedicated to The Holy Emperors Constantine and Helen and Saint John Cassian.

This visit brought joy not only to the hermits but also to Archbishop Calinic, Archim. Nectarie Clinci noted on the official website of the archdiocese.

The hierarch thus received live confirmation that the beautiful area of ​​Bukovina is, as before, supported by the prayers of the hermits who withdrew to silence and prayers that, from the heart of the mountains, rise like fire to heaven.
