Abbot Ephraim of Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos celebrated Tuesday the Divine Liturgy at the Stavropegic Monastery of Gonia in Crete in the opening of the second day’s communication sessions of the International Conference on Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care (DMOPC18).

Abbot Ephraim Tuesday, June 19, started celebrating the daily Divine Liturgy before the DMOPC18 communication sessions.

The International Conference on Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care began its works Monday, June 18, at the Orthodox Academy of Crete.

Over 100 speakers are attending the conference sharing their experience and knowledge about digital media and Orthodox pastoral activity.

The conference is organized by Pemptousia under the auspices of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.

The Basilica News Agency is a media partner of the event.

The DMOPC18 Conference will end its sessions Thursday, June 21, 2018.

As stated on the official website, this conference aims at identifying guidelines for Orthodox pastoral care as related to the digital media.
