The Bishop of Canada shall join the first Orthodox Youth Retreat organized in the diocese. The event is scheduled for September 3-6 in Mono, Ontario.
The reunion take place under the slogan: “Friends of St John Jacob of Hozeva and of St Herman of Alaska – Paths to the Kingdom”. The event is open to Orthodox youth aged 16+ from the Romanian parishes of Canada.
The event has been planned as a spiritual retreat with activities such as:
- morning and evening prayers;
- catechesis, conferences and discussions related to the Holy Sacraments, the importance of young adults in the Church;
- campfire;
- games and sports.
