First groups of young people sing Christmas carols for HB Patriarch Daniel

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel on Wednesday evening welcomed several groups of young people at his patriarchal residence in Bucharest to listen to their Christmas carol recitals.

The first Christmas carols were sung by the female Byzantine choir of St Catherine University Chapel in Bucharest, led by Rev. Georgian Paunoiu.

His Beatitude also welcomed the Romanian Orthodox Christian Students Association in Bucharest, and the members of the Orthodox Theology Students Association.

It has become a tradition for the Patriarch of Romania to welcome every year groups of carol singers from all over Romania at his Patriarchal Residence.
