Commemoration Service for the Victims from Collective Club

The victims from Collective Club were commemorated Monday, 30 May 2016.

Seven months since the tragic event, a group of priests celebrated a commemoration service, with the blessing of the Patriarch of Romania, in front of the club where several young people lost their lives. The group of celebrants was headed by Rev. Fr. Mihai Aurel, Eparchial vicar to the Archdiocese of Bucharest.

The event was also held in the context of the forthcoming Child’s International Day (1 June) and of the Sunday of the Parents and Children (5 June), because more than 60 persons lost their lives during this fire, most of them young.
