Carollers at the Patriarchal Residence

After they gave the answers at the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral, the members of the “Nicolae Lungu” Chorus carolled His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania at the Patriarchal Residence.

“The chant is a missionary work, not a simple entertainment. It is the support of prayer and strengthening of the truths of faith in a sensitive deep way which cannot be expressed through the simple words of the sermon. Thus, there is complementarity between the word confessed and the doxological word praising God. We congratulate you and wish you that Christ born in Bethlehem bless your activity and house, because we have seen some things renewed here. You have continuity and renewal in Nicolae Lungu chorus of the Romanian Patriarchate”, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel said.

To end with, the Patriarch of Romania offered gifts to the members of the chorus, according to tradition.
