Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana and all Albania celebrated his 90th birthday on Monday being the eldest among the Primates of local Autocephalous Orthodox Churches.
The President of the Republic of Albania, posting on his Facebook page, wished happy birthday to the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Albania:
“On the occasion of his 90th birthday, I wish Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania to have longevity and blessed years. I express my deep gratitude for everything he has offered over the years to the glory of God, for the good of the Albanian Orthodox Church and the faithful, for the international recognition of his work and for strengthening the harmony and understanding between the religions in our country. May God protect him in his pastoral work.”
