February 1907 – Priest Nicodim Belea was born in Cornești village. He
held various positions at the Theological Academy of Sibiu (1927 – 1931)
and at the Theological Academy of Cluj (1937 – 1940). He published the
works: “Way to Priesthood. Study of religious psychology” (1946),
“Psychology of Confession” (1847) and “Contributions to the pastoral
running of the faithful in villages” (1955), as well as studies,
articles and sermons in the local theological magazines. He died on 27
September 1986, in Fischerhude/Bremen (Germany).
