Bucharest. He studies at the Theological Seminary of “Saint Nicholas” of<\/p>\n
R\u00e2mnicu V\u00e2lcea (1921 – 1929) and at the Faculty of Theology of <\/p>\n
Bucharest (1929 – 1933, graduated in 1934), with a doctor’s degree in <\/p>\n
1949. He was parish priest at Baia de Aram\u0103, county of Mehedin\u021bi (1931 –<\/p>\n
1941); preacher priest at the “Saint Dumitru” Cathedral of Craiova <\/p>\n
(since 1941); professor at the Theological Seminary of Craiova (1951 – <\/p>\n
1952 and 1955 – 1959), then at the one in Bucharest (1965 – 1978). <\/p>\n
Political refugee for several years (1959 – 1964). <\/p>\n
Works: Ethics<\/p>\n
and Aesthetics (1948, doctorate thesis); Present Homiletic <\/p>\n
Considerations (O. 1967); On Origen’s Hypothesis (St, 1978), Saints at <\/p>\n
the sinners’ judgement (ST, 1979). He published over one hundred sermons<\/p>\n
