The Romanian Orthodox Parish Verona 2 in Italy has\u00a0<\/strong>formed a partnership<\/strong><\/a> with the local food bank to assist socially vulnerable members of its community.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Through this collaboration, the parish will function as a distribution centre for essential food supplies.<\/p>\n

The partnership with Banco Alimentare<\/a>\u2014one of Italy\u2019s largest charitable networks\u2014will enable the collection and redistribution of food products to those facing material hardship, offering not only nourishment but also dignity and a sense that they are not alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt a time when many of our fellow people are going through difficult moments, this collaboration is an answer to our prayers and a sign that the Church is, above all, a family united in good deeds,\u201d parish representatives said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They also invited the faithful to inform them of families in need of social assistance.<\/p>\n

The initiative signifies a new chapter in the community\u2019s social and charitable endeavours, translating Christian love into tangible support for families and individuals facing difficulties.<\/p>\n

Dedicated to Saint Sophia and her daughters Pistis, Elpis, and Agapis, the parish church is situated at Vicolo Basso Acquar 18 in Verona.<\/p>\n
