{"id":560814,"date":"2026-02-27T19:07:04","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T17:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/?p=560814"},"modified":"2026-02-27T19:07:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T17:07:04","slug":"march-4-moms-young-people-us-canada-run-support-mothers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/march-4-moms-young-people-us-canada-run-support-mothers\/","title":{"rendered":"March for Moms: Young people in US and Canada walk and run in support of mothers in need"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Young people in the United States and Canada, aged between 17 and 30, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitropolia.us\/index.php\/en\/2014-join-roya-s-march-for-moms-registration-open\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">are invited<\/a> to the &#8220;March for Moms,&#8221; a charitable walk-and-run organized<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>by the Association of Romanian Orthodox Youth in the Americas (ROYA) for the benefit of mothers in need.\u00a0The event will be held throughout March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organizers aim to reach the threshold of 10,000 kilometers walked in support of mothers at this year&#8217;s edition.<\/p>\n<p>For every kilometer walked by participants, church communities in the Metropolis of the Americas will donate one dollar to support mothers and expectant mothers facing financial difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will be using the Strava app to track this event. Once we receive your registration, you will receive a link to join the Strava Club.
