{"id":544166,"date":"2025-10-15T16:38:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T13:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/?p=544166"},"modified":"2025-10-15T16:38:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T13:38:10","slug":"4000-youth-cluj-napoca-hymns-metropolitan-andrei-missionaries-of-christ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/4000-youth-cluj-napoca-hymns-metropolitan-andrei-missionaries-of-christ\/","title":{"rendered":"4,000 young voices sing hymns of faith in Cluj-Napoca; Metropolitan urges youth to be missionaries of Christ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A choir of about 4,000 young people performed religious hymns on Saturday evening in Cluj-Napoca during the event \u201cHymns of Heaven\u201d, where Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramure\u0219 and S\u0103laj urged them to be faithful missionaries of Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event, unique in Romania, featured performances of traditional Orthodox hymns and songs honouring Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, with the aim of promoting authentic faith and moral values among young people.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 5,000 people attended, including Bishop Benedict of S\u0103laj and Assistant Bishop Samuel of Bistri\u021ba, from the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac, and Cluj.<\/p>\n<p>The mass choir was conducted by Fr.
