The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and the Metropolis of Bessarabia have\u00a0<\/strong>agreed<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0to protect a historic monument in Dub\u0103sarii Vechi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The partnership concerns the Church of \u201cArchangel Michael\u201d and the necropolis of the Donici and Macri families in Dub\u0103sarii Vechi, both of which are listed in the official Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n

The agreement, signed by Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan and the Dean of Criuleni and Dub\u0103sari, Father Teodor Pelin, follows a lengthy legal dispute over the monument\u2019s legal status. It paves the way for long-term cooperation in preserving Moldova\u2019s spiritual and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Father Pelin emphasized that the agreement symbolizes a crucial step toward new partnerships and serves as a gesture of reconciliation and natural collaboration between the State institutions and the Romanian Orthodox Church in Bessarabia:<\/p>\n
