European Parliament Member Gheorghe C\u00e2rciu was also present.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Mission Begins<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The beginning of Bishop Nectarie\u2019s mission in the newly established diocese coincided with the Sunday commemorating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/basilica.en\/posts\/pfbid0QZ4JZjkDXX1GnqV1brMcKctFA6o4yxJF2eH5Gnv6hfx881uo5SbyxnpCh3FiepM9l?locale=ro_RO\">the start of the Lord\u2019s public ministry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Throughout this period, starting from January 6, we have been under the spiritual aura of the great feast of the Theophany of the Lord. As today&#8217;s Gospel from St. Matthew shows us, from this moment, our Saviour Jesus Christ addressed the same message as St. John the Baptist,\u201d said the bishop.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Nectarie reminded the faithful of the call of Christ: \u201cRepent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a message we all relate to because it is both a challenge and an invitation to each of us. The event took place at the \u201cSt. Columba\u201d Church of the Dublin II Parish.
