On this occasion, His Beatitude told the carolers that they are <em>&#8220;heralds of God&#8217;s merciful love.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Four groups performed carols:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The group from<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ion I. C. Br\u0103tianu<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201d <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Secondary School in Bucharest,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Saint Kyriake<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201d <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Byzantine Choir from the Diocesan Cathedral in Hu\u0219i,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The vocal group from Secondary School No. 2 in Fundeni \u2013 Ilfov,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The group of carolers from the Romanian-German Vocational School in Vi\u0219eu de Sus \u2013 Maramure\u0219.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Heralds of God&#8217;s merciful love<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">His Beatitude praised the depth and interpretation of the selected carols.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Speaking to the carolers from Maramure\u0219, Patriarch Daniel highlighted their role as<\/span> <em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">heralds of <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">God&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> merciful love, revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;W<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">e deeply appreciate that you preserve Romanian and Orthodox Christian traditions in Maramure\u0219, where monasteries and churches have <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">flourished<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and where a strong, confessional faith endures,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;<\/span><\/em> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Patriarch Daniel <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">also<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> congratulated the students from<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ion I. C.
