The Romanian Orthodox community in Scandinavia is celebrating a historic moment as they intend to acquire their own church in Bor\u00e5s, Sweden. His Grace Bishop Macarie of Northern Europe described this goal as “the most beautiful and unique Christmas gift.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWith great joy, I announce that the contract has been signed to purchase a place of worship for the Romanian Orthodox community in Bor\u00e5s \u2013 Olsfors Kyrka. This is a historic moment not only for the Bor\u00e5s community but for all of Scandinavia, as very few parishes have their own churches; most rely on rented spaces,\u201d announced Bishop Macarie.<\/p>\n
