{"id":506482,"date":"2024-11-26T12:30:15","date_gmt":"2024-11-26T10:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/?p=506482"},"modified":"2024-11-26T12:30:15","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T10:30:15","slug":"romfilatelia-launches-2024-christmas-stamp-collection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basilica.ro\/en\/romfilatelia-launches-2024-christmas-stamp-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Romfilatelia launches 2024 Christmas stamp collection celebrating the Lord&#8217;s Nativity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Last Friday, Romfilatelia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.romfilatelia.ro\/en\/christmas-2024\/\">unveiled<\/a> its latest stamp issue dedicated to the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, titled <em>\u201cChristmas 2024.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The philatelic collection features two stamps, a perforated souvenir sheet, a<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">first-day<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201d <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">cover, and a <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">special<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> philatelic folder produced in a limited edition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">collection&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> centrepiece is the stamp on the souvenir sheet, with a nominal value of 33 lei, showcasing a miniature by the Venerable Procopie P\u0103tru\u021b, a 19th-century self-taught Transylvanian missionary and scholar.
