“Every young person needs the blessing and care of God, whose guiding and protective presence illuminates the mind and reveals the depths of knowledge,” said Archbishop Ioachim of Roman and Bac\u0103u on the occasion of the new school year 2024-2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We extend our deepest appreciation to all the educators working in the schools within the administrative-canonical boundaries of the Archdiocese of Roman and Bac\u0103u for their efforts last year, praying to Christ the Lord, the Great Teacher of the world, to inspire their work,” the Archbishop continued.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that educators’ mission is “to nurture a generation of young people prepared to harmoniously blend the national cultural-religious heritage with interethnic and international values.”<\/p>\n

Archbishop Ioachim also encouraged students, reminding them that “school is where they shape their personality, gain theoretical and practical knowledge, and learn to be responsible, tolerant, and altruistic, preparing them to navigate the intercultural European and global landscape.”<\/p>\n

“School is a key stage in any young person’s development, perhaps the most important in terms of human existence. It is essential for those who want to contribute to making the environment where they live a beautiful, welcoming, and healthy place,” he added.<\/p>\n

For today’s youth, school is “an opportunity to become better, more competitive, and more educated. It is the time to prepare for life’s great exams and to accumulate intellectual knowledge.”<\/p>\n

Archbishop Ioachim concluded by wishing all teachers and students “health, strength, inspiration, and a successful 2024-2025 school year filled with achievements.”<\/p>\n
