The students received a specialized training camp in Romania, fully sponsored by the European Union and the Romanian Embassy in Kenya, as a reward.<\/p>\n<p>The trip to the Bucegi Mountains was organized for the participants&#8217; recreation, tourist education, and social inclusion at the initiative of Ambassador Gen\u021biana \u0218erbu.<\/p>\n<p>At the monastery, the Kenyan students were welcomed by the abbot, Archimandrite Calinic Dandu, who gave them a tour of the three churches within the monastic complex of Pe\u0219tera.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, the students visited nearby tourist attractions: Pe\u0219tera Ialomi\u021bei, the Bolboci-Padina natural complex, and the natural monuments of the Bucegi Mountains\u2014Sphinx and Babele.<\/p>\n<p>The young visitors from Kenya also enjoyed a cable car ride and a meal provided by the host monastery.
