In 2023, Bank of Food Moldova recovered more than<\/strong> 124,480 kg of foods. According to the <\/strong>standards of the European Food Banks Federation – FEBA<\/a>,<\/strong> they represented 248,960 hot meals, which were distributed by<\/strong> 51 social <\/strong>services throughout the Republic of Moldova<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The number of beneficiaries<\/a> assisted by these centres was approximately 5,000 socially vulnerable people.<\/p>\n

The food recovered by Food Bank Moldova helps to diversify the daily menu in social centres, increases access to quality food for poor people and is an ecological act to protect against food waste.<\/p>\n
