The Diocese of Maramure\u015f and S\u0103tmar has a\u00a0new coat of arms. The Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church approved the model during its working session held Feb. 9 in Bucharest.<\/p>\n

His Grace Bishop Justin launched the proposal to change the diocesan coat of arms. As reported by the diocesan site, the new coat of arms comes to meet the current context of the church life in the Northern part of Romania.<\/p>\n
