The Holy Cross and St Basil the Great<\/em> Church in Bucharest began the manifestations for its dedication day, on the eve of the Feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, 13 September 2016.<\/p>\n

Following the Vigil Service, the relics of the Holy Virgin Martyr Philotheia from Curtea de Arge\u015f, and a fragment of the Venerable\u00a0Wood of the Holy Cross were carried in procession.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of\u00a0pilgrims, holding icons and candles, walked in procession towards Nicolae Iorga<\/em> Park. There, His Eminence Calinic, Archbishop of Arge\u0219, delivered a homily.<\/p>\n

The evening concluded with a Byzantine Music Concert performed by Cantus Domini <\/em>Choir.<\/p>\n
