On the night of the beginning of the New civil Year 2015, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church celebrated the Akatistos of Jesus Christ, our Lord, at the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest, assisted by a group of priests and deacons, in the presence of many faithful. The Akatistos service was completed by thanksgiving prayers for the boons received during the last year and for the year that has just begun.<\/p>\n
To end with, the Patriarch of Romania addressed those present the speech entitled \u201cChrist unites time with eternity and blesses the passing of the years\u201d in which he spoke about the importance of time as time of salvation.<\/p>\n
