His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel sent a congratulatory message on the election of the new Archbishop of Cyprus.

The Patriarch of Romania wished him “blessed years in the service of the Orthodox people of Cyprus”.

On the occasion of Your Beatitude’s election as Primate of the Church of Cyprus, we congratulate you and pray our Saviour Jesus Christ to grant you many spiritual achievements in the new mission entrusted to you.

On behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy and the faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church, we wish you blessed years in the service of the Orthodox people of Cyprus and help from God in all Your Beatitude’s activity.
