8 July 1867 – Theology professor VASILE OIAGA (not ordained) was
born in Bucium, county of Iași. Studies at “Veniamin” Seminary of Iași
(1879 – 1887) and at the Faculty of Theology of Bucharest. Chief
pedagogue in Huși, professor at the gymnasiums in Vaslui, Brăila and
Iași, then titular professor of church history and Homiletics at
“Veniamin” Seminary of Iași (1903 – 1930). He was editor of “Viitorul”
magazine in Iași, together with Prof. D. Boroianu. He passed away on 10
November 1932 in Iași.
