The Coptic Archbishop of London held a meeting last week with two representatives of the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies (IOCS) in Cambridge.
Archbishop Angaelos welcomed Fr. Dragoș Herescu, Director of IOCS, and Fr. John Jillions, the newly appointed Chair of the Institute’s Board of Trustees, at the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre in the United Kingdom.
The discussions focused on the institute’s current activities and future opportunities for collaboration, Archbishop Angaelos shared on the social media platform X.
In turn, Fr. Dragoș Herescu expressed his gratitude “for the warm hospitality and the very rich conversation, which promises an exciting and much-needed future collaboration.”
The Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies in Cambridge was founded in 1999 and is a member of the Cambridge Theological Federation.
