Romanian Patriarchate sends message of compassion and solidarity with Manchester blast victims

The Romanian Patriarchate has learned with much sorrow about the May 22 Manchester terror attack following which 22 persons died and other 59 were injured, among the victims being unfortunately children.

We deplore the continuation of the wave of violence caused by terrorism that assaults Europe and we express our hope that the state authorities and international bodies will find the most appropriate solutions to stop this terrible scourge.

We pray to God to rest in His peace and love the souls of the deceased, to comfort the bereaved families and to give health to the wounded.

Moreover, on behalf of the Romanian Patriarchate, we express our compassion and solidarity with the yet again hardly tried British people.
