Romanian Patriarch Daniel prays for the victims of the Brussel terrorist attacks

The Patriarch of Romania prayed on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in the chapel of the Christian University Dimitrie Cantemir in Bucharest, for the victims of the terrorist attacks in the capital of Belgium.

Before the granting of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa on behalf of the Christian University Dimitrie Cantemir in Bucharest, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel visited the chapel of the institution. There, he prayed for the forgiveness of the sins and the rest of the souls of those killed after the Brussels terrorist attack.

It is noteworthy that after the tragic events, which occurred in Belgium, the Patriarch of Romania has addressed a message of compassion and solidarity with the Belgian people: “We pray to God for the peace, the understanding, and the good coexistence between people of different nationalities, cultures and religious beliefs”. 34 people were killed and over 270 injured after the terrorist attacks that occurred on Tuesday morning in Brussels, Belgium. Two bombs were detonated on Zaventem Airport, and one at Maelbeek Metro station.
