Friday, 2 September 2016, thousands of young people participated in the Lights Procession. After attending the spiritual conference entitled Jesus Christ – Joy of Life, held at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, the young participants in #ITO2016 set out in procession to the Patriarchate Hill on the route Palace Hall –Victoriei Avenue – United Nations Square – Patriarchate Hill.
The procession was headed by His Grace Timotei Prahoveanul, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
The participants in the pilgrimage sang religious and patriotic chants carrying burning candles in their hands.
The procession ended at the Metropolitan Hill where the evening prayer was celebrated.
