Thursday, September 3rd, is the last day of submissions for the the photo contest “Colours of Orthodoxy. Finland”. This year’s edition, as its name says, is dedicated to the diversity and beauty of Orthodoxy in Finland.
The contest is organized by the Orthodox photo portal OrthPhoto.net in partnership with the Orthodox Church of Finland and the Publishing Department of the Polish Orthodox Church.
Participation is free of charge and photographers are invited to send up to six photos representing one of the following:
- Churches (architecture, frescos and mosaics, crosses, tombs and cemeteries, landscape, etc)
- People (ordained and lay, portrait, etc)
- Reportage (Church events, pilgrimages, feasts, etc)
The contest is open to photographers from all over the world, who own copyright over the photos submitted on the OrthPhoto.net online platform.
The Grand Prix is 400 Euros and the contest will be followed by the publication of a photo album and a photo exhibition entitled “Colours of Orthodoxy. Finland”.
