Caravan of the Romanian Language in the South of Bessarabia

From 16-25 May 2016, the caravan of the Romanian language in the South of Bessarabia will take place, including 15 performances of the puppet theatre for children with the plays: Tândală’s Wedding, A Soul for a Puppet, Memories from Childhood, Holy Sunday, The New Adventures of the Red Riding Hood staged by the puppeteers of B.P. Haşdeu Theatre of Cahul.

The caravan will reach schools in villages in the South of the Republic of Moldova: Leova, Cimislia, Taraclia, Albota de Jos (Hagichioi, Hîrtop, Albota), Comrat, Vulcăneşti, Ceadîr-Lunga, Borceag, Doina, Cheoselia, Alexandru Ioan-Cuza and Cantemir (Cârpeşti, Baimaclia).

„From 21-22 May 2016, courses/workshops for specialising in the Romanian language and history of the Romanians will be organised, within the same project, for professors who teach in schools of Ukraine (South of Bessarabia) and Republic of Moldova. The courses/workshops will be focused on the methods and didactics of teaching, on the requirements of competent education, attractive instruments for studying the Romanian language and the history of the Romanians, as well as on the difficulties the professors are faced with when teaching various disciplines, and will be taught by professors from the University of “Lower Danube” of Galaţi – the representatives of the Department for Communication of “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute for the Romanians from Abroad inform.

The project is addressed both to the teaching staff and to children and designed to promote and teach the Romanian language and history of the Romanians in a friendly and accessible way.
