- The Divine Liturgy is God’s Kingdom that has already come on Earth. By blessing the Kingdom, the priest blesses the Divine Liturgy that is to be celebrated.
- When you find yourself in at the deep end despair not; and if you have reached the mountaintop do not get dizzy. This second peril is greater than the first. For at the deep end one can call to prayer as a source of power. However, when you reach the mountaintop, you forget prayer.
- If there is nothing after death, what is the purpose of living, of hoping, of struggling…?
- Not leaving is important, but coming back. Do not let yourself die wandering abroad, without even remembering you have a parent waiting for you with open arms.
- Nurture hope with good deeds.
- The slow but sure ascent towards salvation means to be today better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today.
- Prayer is what runs through every wall.
- No one has seen Jesus resurrect, but many were those who saw Him resurrected. The act of resurrection itself had no witnesses. It occurred in the intimacy of the tomb, without any human eye to have access to the only miracle the Lord had announced several times, but no one believed it.
- The only certainty in this life is death.
