7 May 1995 – Priest and theology professor PETRU REZUȘ passed away in Bucharest. Studies at “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Secondary School of Rădăuți (1924-1931), then at the Faculties of Theology and of Philology of Cernăuți (1931-1935). In 1937, he was awarded the title of doctor in theology at Cernăuți, with specialisation courses at Oxford, Cambridge, Strasbourg and Vienna (1935 – 1937). He worked as professor of Dogmatics and Apologetics at the Theological Academy of Caransebeș (1938 – 1947), then as professor of Fundamental Theology at the Faculty of Theology of Suceava (1947 – 1948) and at the Theological Institute of Bucharest (1948 – 1974).
