21 March 1913 – Historian and theology professor CONSTANTIN ERBICEANU passed away in Bucharest. He studied at the Theological Seminary of Socola-Iași (1850 – 1858), at the Faculty of Philology of Iași (1860 – 1864) and of Theology in Athens (1865 – 1868). Professor with the Seminary of Socola-Iași (1868 – 1886), then with the Faculty of Theology of Bucharest (1897 – 1904), corresponding member 81890), then titular (1899) of the Romanian Academy, its vice-president (1904 – 1907).
Works: History of the Veniamin Seminary at Socola Monastery (1885), History of the Metropolitan See and of the Cathedral of Iași (1888) etc.
