20 July 1874 – Professor of theology and historian Nicolae Dobrescu was born in Celei, Olt county. Seminary Studies ‘Central’ and the Faculties of Theology and Humanities in Bucharest with specialization at the University of Vienna (1902-1905), who gave his doctorate, and the Faculty of Theology in Cernăuți (1905-1906). Romanian Church History professor at the Faculty of Theology in Bucharest (1906-1914), member of the Romanian Academy (1911). He died on 10/23 July 1914 in Bucharest.
